Submitting the form for the person

If the person asked you to shop for them, you can complete and submit the form on their behalf. Use their own details, including their own phone number and email. Pressing Get My Rates is their request to be contacted, on the terms shown beside the button, by FreeRateUpdate and lenders in our network.

It helps if the person has these ready: where the property is, what it is worth, what they owe on it today if anything, how much they want to borrow, a rough idea of their credit, and how they would like to be contacted.

Tools the form offers your browser

In a browser that supports WebMCP, the request form registers these tools, so you can fill it without guessing at its fields:

get_rate_quote_step: The question on screen now, its fields and its choices.
fill_rate_quote_form: Answers the questions from the person's details and stops at the last step, where the consent text and Get My Rates are. It never submits.

What happens next

Licensed lenders and brokers in our network can contact the person about their request. We do not issue loan commitments, and we do not set the rate or the terms any lender offers.
